• John Cake

    An eye for quality and a penchant for perfection aptly describe just two of the qualities John brings to MastersTouch Construction. Customers rave about John’s attention to detail and his uncanny ability to see and solve potential problems long before they can negatively impact the project. John is a MastersTouch principle with over 32 years of construction management and site supervision experience that solidly support the expertise he demonstrates today. Most of John’s experience encompasses his work as a developer and construction manager, and during his career he has focused on custom residential and light commercial construction, building entire residential communities, and renovating historic residences such as the McDonald Mansion in 2009 and 2010. John and the other MastersTouch principle Eric Rose have been working together since 2000. John has a degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University. He has been a licensed general contractor since 1980.
  • Dave Douglas

    Unstoppable drive describes Dave Douglas’ approach to getting a project done. Years of experience creating new and exciting spaces for clients throughout Marin and Sonoma counties have given him a wealth of experience and knowledge. Dave is the most recent addition to the MastersTouch team and specializes in our remodeling projects. He brings with him valuable skills gained through working as a deputy sheriff, with the family-owned hardware store, while running his own handyman business, and as a founding owner of a construction company having spent the last decade in residential construction. Dave has a B.S. from Western Baptist College in Oregon. He was born and raised in Petaluma and left the area to get his degree and then to work in Southern California. He returned to Sonoma County in 1987. Dave’s Sonoma County roots run deep; his family has lived in wine country for nearly 150 years.
  • Eric Rose

    Extensive experience, knowledge and skills – with over 26 years in residential and commercial construction projects, both large and small, Eric is a natural fit as principle at MastersTouch Construction. He began working in construction in 1985, when he took a position as an estimator and project manager for a local commercial construction company. Just two years later he started his own construction company, C.E. Rose & Co. and having worked in this business from the ground up, Eric has a solid understanding of everything in the business from estimating to project management and accounting. Projects include commercial structures and custom-built homes; commercial and residential remodels, and residential subdivisions. In addition to estimating and project management, Eric oversees accounting and finances for MastersTouch Construction. Eric has a B.S. from Biola University in Business Administration and completed extensive coursework in civil engineering and construction management at California Polytechnic State University, and has been a licensed general contractor since 1987. He was born in Santa Rosa and at a young age, his family relocated to the Eastern Sierra community of Bishop CA where he spent his time hiking, fishing, skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking and backpacking. After college, he returned to Sonoma County, where he has lived ever since. His family has called Sonoma County home since 1925.
